Who is France Fintech?

France Fintech

France Fintech is an association created by French Fintech entrepreneurs. Building on its success, France Fintech now boasts more than 80 startups (Bankin’, Margo Bank, Meilleurtaux.com, etc.) and focuses primarily on promoting them locally and internationally. And it’s with great pride that we joined this beautiful ecosystem earlier this week! #Thebestisyettocome

Fintech R:Evolution – Data Liberation!

In just two years, Fintech R:Evolution has become a benchmark event thanks to its unique positioning: selection of exclusive speakers, choice of forward-looking themes, deep dive into the heart of the ecosystem. Driven by France’s pioneering dynamism, Fintech R:Evolution is the event that puts the spotlight on the finest entrepreneurs, from conquering leaders to promising start-ups.

While the first wave of Fintech mainly concerned new uses, the second is characterized by the emergence of new, more comprehensive models, underpinned by massive advances in data technologies,
artificial intelligence
blockchain and the Internet of Things. These advances play a central role in the revolution in financial services, putting the customer and consumer back at the heart of the system. Their essential “liberation” depends on the construction of an effective regulatory system.

For Alain Clot, President of France FinTech: “The world of financial services has begun its revolution with the aim of better serving consumers. To protect them, a secure legal and regulatory framework is essential, and France FinTech is fully committed to its development. The current transposition of the second European Payments Directive must guarantee fairness for all players and not compromise the innovation driven by fintech. It is vital that, in this decisive period of transition, the public authorities take a strong stand to ensure that the letter and spirit of European law are respected, so as to enable the emergence of French and European champions. Time is running out. It’s in the interests of consumers, growth, skilled employment and, ultimately, our sovereignty.

Profound changes in the regulatory environment(GDPR, D.S.P.2, etc.), artificial intelligence, blockchain, hybridization of business models, new trends in financing… these are just some of the topics that will be addressed this year, in their technical, political and ethical dimensions as well as in terms of the application cases envisaged.

In particular, the following are expected:
Bruno Le Maire – Minister of the Economy and Finance -, Luc Julia – VP innovation at Samsung, Creator of Siri -, Aurélie Jean, PhD – digital scientist and entrepreneur – , Arthur Breitman – founder and CEO of Tezos – Odile Renaud-Basso – Director General of the French Treasury -, Eric Larchevêque – founder and CEO of Ledger -, Laure de La Raudière – Member of Parliament -, Gaspard Koenig – philosophy professor, author of numerous essays and novels and Chairman of the GenerationLibre think-tank – and many other personalities to be announced shortly.

Take part in the fintech revolution and see you on April 10, 2018!
