Ambienta SGR SpA (« Ambienta », one of Europe’s largest asset managers fully focused on environmental sustainability, is pleased to announce that Namirial S.p.A. (« Namirial », a leader in digital trust software and services, has completed the acquisition of Evicertia S.L. (« Evicertia” », a certification service provider headquartered in Madrid, Spain, which provides solutions to public and private sector clients in the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America.
Evicertiafounded in 2010, provides digital trust services for certified communication, electronic certification, digital entry and electronic signature for regulated industries such as insurance, banking, human resources and telecommunications, as well as for federal and local governments. The main use cases include entering into relationships with customers for financing contracts and claims processing, signing and certified communication of employment contracts, signing and certified communication of all documents related to insurance operations (policies, claims, contract renewals, etc.), signing automobile financing contracts and certifying bank transaction statements.
Evicertia’s product portfolio ideally complements Namirial’s digital trust services. Namirial ‘s customers and distribution partners will benefit from important synergies in the field of certified communications: the addition of qualified electronic registered mail services is a perfect illustration. With Evicertia’s offices in Spain, Brazil, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico and Peru, Namirial will also have a stronger presence in the strategic markets of the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America.
Evicertiaas part of the Namirial Group, has a positive impact on the environment: its software and services allow the digital execution of transactions and the certified digital sending of communications, avoiding the printing of voluminous documents and the need to travel to sign contracts or send registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt.
Three months after the acquisition of NetheosEvicertia represents Namirial ‘s second international acquisition sinceAmbienta acquired a majority stake in May 2020. In 2021, Namirial achieved a turnover of more than 70 million euros, showing an organic growth of more than 20%, thanks to solid investments in management, organization, products and distribution. The M&A strategy, which aims to further accelerate growth in international markets, is proving effective. While Netheos has allowed the entry on the French market and the reinforcement of the digital entry solutions proposed by Namirial, Evicertia marks a turning point in the positioning of Namirial in Spain and Latin America.
As part of the investments in Netheos and Evicertia, Blackstone Credit joined Ambienta to support Namirials expansion. Blackstone provides the project with the financial flexibility to pursue an even more ambitious growth strategy.
